Ron Quercia's Gallery

Ron Quercia has been painting coastal scenes and sand dunes near his home in Northern California for many years now. He is noted for his sensitive touch and the meditative quality of his oil paintings. Here is a sample of his latest works.

Winter at low tide on the Sonoma coast has offered Ron Quercia the opportunity to relate his story through his paintings, the relationship of sky to sea and the movement of the receding tide. The paintings are mostly vertical 30"x40", allowing the viewer to step in and experience his perception as their own.

Ron Quercia, a Northern California coastal painter for over two decades, is known as a tonalist representational painter with an abstract story. At first glance the paintings look monochromatic, but Ron uses a full palette allowing the vibrant colors to reflect in the light on the waters edge .

Living on the Sonoma coast since 1990, Ron has experienced the changing coastal seasons, and the diversity of one of the most beautiful places in Northern California.

Works by Ron Quercia are on exhibit in the small gallery. Quercia Gallery is located in the Country Stores Courtyard in Duncans Mills, California which is on Highway 116 between Guerneville and Jenner. It's a very pleasant country drive along the Russian River.
